Fishing report from the boat "Reel Hard" by Scott Pike and Doug McLaughlin

We launached out of Safe Marina about 8 AM and headed out a few miles to catach bait. Caught plenty of sardines and 2 mackerel and proceeded to head out another 30 miles to begin fishing. The day started off pretty fast as we caught several goldspotted bass, but as the morning wore on the fishing slowed down. In the afternoon the bite picked up and we we able to add a few nice red snapper to the catch. Our catch of the day was about a 15+ pound California Sheephead. Overall it was a good day of fishing.
