I had the opportunity to tour the airport about a week ago. We drove out on our way back from the gold mine and were granted full access, even walked out on the tarmac. It's really pretty amazing how much is there and how many people are working. We were there on a weekday, middle of the day. I would guess we saw 15 or so people working in the main terminal. A couple of Aduana folk, a staffed car rental kiosk, a snack bar, and that did not include any people who might have been in the tower. Yes there is a tower, not a big one but it is there. The facility was surprisingly plesant. Nicely tiled, bright and airy. there is a baggage inspection area and baggage pick up area. It is far from a dusty run down dirt strip that one might imagine. I think this shows that they are serious about develooping flights in. We were told there was only one charter scheduled in a couple of weeks from our visit.
Sorry about that Joe it was a typo it is 110 low lead... I won't say anything that may incriminate the guilty but it sure makes 3 certain motorcycles run real good...
