Kayak fishing around the Reef campground and off to the right?

Trying to arrange a kayak through Tammy and Roland with kayakrockypoint or whatever and they are suggesting the reef area as a good place to go. Should I take their advice or request to launch of cholla bay and fish around the corner of pelican point?

I will be fishing this weekend with the gf so just want to catch a few on spoons to keep her interested in fishing.

well damn maybe I'm confused because right around the corner from the reef is basically the area I was hoping to fish right?

Never fished there, but I'm going to try on the beach.
There are reefs all over close to shore, thats why your in Rocky point.

It can get a little rough going aroung pelican point. Wherever you go...Good Luck!
