Gas Prices a week ago

I didnt get price in RP. What is it going per gallon for?

Shell $ 3.70 if you put it on a card it is 10 cents a gallon more for a grand total of $3.80. That is crazy.

Didn't buy gas, but diesel was 9.09 liter in Sonoita last Sun. 9.09 x 3.78 = 34.36 pesos... exchange at about 11 to 1 right now... so roughly 3.12 USD per gallon.

Still much cheaper than here in Phoenix...running about $3.89 for diesel. Last trip down (about 4 weeks ago), the Why Not was charging $4.39/gal. for diesel. I can imagine wht it is now!!!

This weekend....diesel was 9.09 peso/liter.....Super Ley was giving change based on 12 pesos to the dollar, but the bank was 11.42.

The Dollar just keeps going down.

Remember, the gasoline that you buy in Mexico is refined in the US. It is not diluted with ethanol, so you get more miles per gallon from gasoline purchased in Mexico. The only issue is cheating on what you purchase, which is common. Your best guide is watching where the local fishermen buy gas for their pangas.

$2.92/gallon on 4/9/11. Cactus how do you know Pemex's gas is refined in the US? And which refinery?
