Really, I was there this last weekend and it was very dead. Sat at Wrecked it was very slow compared to 3+ yrs ago. I guess if your comparing to last year or so, maybe very slight increase.
We've been watching a lot of people really enjoying the beach. Beautiful out there today. Tide pool water great temperature to check out the little critters. A big boat anchored off shore for awhile. Eyes not good enough to make it out.
I know that number are up by almost triple for me, I have been back and forth every day since last Friday and the only days I will not be traveling are this coming Friday and Saturday and Sunday I am renting a an extra van to bring the party hardy kids, of course they all sleep like babies all the way back home!!
I was told that this past weekend, Friday and Saturday night Manny's had around 30 people and Baja was a little more crowded. Thats about 10% of the Spring Break Hay day when it was Baja to the brim on both floors, Manny's front and back sections completely full, Pink Cadilac full, Senor Frogs, Rocky Gardens and hell even the middle of the street was a crowded party. Sad...
well, if the US media would have never said that the cartels are killing each other in the beaches of Rocky Point and that americans are being killed in fake check points in highway 8 then the situation will be very different!!! wouldn't you agree?

Even on non holiday weekends...before the Swine Flu fiasco, the Mirador street was so full that you couldn't drive down it (although many were drinking out of their vehicles on the street)....the police used to come thru at 3am to disperse the crowds....
Got back to the U.S. yesterday afternoon, MANY more cars coming down than were going the opposite direction on Sunday. I think this will be the much bigger weekend of the two. More families on the beaches of Mirador and Las Conchas than I've seen in years, though the shops, bars and restaurants along the Malecon and Mirador were pretty slow. With the state of the economy (and gas prices!), I guess we have to be happy that people are going down period, but I've found my confidence level and sense of adventure for a 2am-taco-run has gone down considerably, even though I've been visiting for almost 25 years. Just being more cautious these days, treating certain areas along par with sections of downtown Phx or South Tucson.
That said, amazing weather, friendly locals & visitors, and the water was "warm" enough to wade it, yet cool enough to soothe a pair of sunburned legs.
Our Granddaughter is headed down as I type - she is on a Headouttorockypoint van - apparently 2 van loads headed down with ASU students already in the party mode. And, like her grandmother, she managed to sleep through the noise.
No matter the reason, it would be nice to get honest reports about the size of crowds. Last Friday we left mannys about 10 pm with about 5 people total, sat. there was more traffic but didnt bother stopping in. Two three, even 10 van loads is not very much and considering many more "kids" probably opt for a ride nowadays with the bad news rather than drive themselves Im noure that vans are getting used more. Not sure that actually mean bigger crowds. Sucks!

Ok before this gets blown out, I dont believe anyone ever said there were people being killed at fake checkpoints on highway 8! They did say that fake checkpoints were set up but they never did say anyone was killed. Get your chit straight man!

I would agree that it used to be more crowded and the US media has aided fears, but for you to say its because the media told us people were being killed on highway 8 is a lie. The US media never said anything about people being killed on highway 8, they did report about unknown checkpoints, and those reports were unconfirmed. I agree with you that the crowds are less because of bad media but not to the extent of the hot air coming out of your mouth.

AGREE, the rocky point rides person said their business was up this year. Well unfortunately people dont understand variables. Just because you have more van business doesnt directly mean that more people are coming to RP this year or that it is more busy. I cant say this with probability because I dont know but Im assuming that if business seems up on rocky point rides then that means that people are worried about driving themselves so they are taking charters instead.
Beg to differ Mexico Joe about you saying consulate never said anything about shootings. Rocky Point Rides was correct (the Consulate recanted this warning after the news station revealed it was untrue):

The U.S. Consulate in Nogales, Son., has issued a "Warden Message" warning of possible unauthorized checkpoints on Highway 8 between the border and Puerto Peñasco.
"There have been unconfirmed reports that unauthorized checkpoints have been set up by unknown persons at night. Reports from those passing through these checkpoints indicate that the operators of the checkpoint only requested to see identification before allowing them to pass. U.S. Consulate Nogales strongly advises any traveler who must take this route do so during daylight hours," the May 19 message states.
The warning offers tips for travelers who are stopped at an unofficial checkpoint:
1. Do not resist. Cooperate immediately and fully.
2. Stay calm, put up your hands, and comply with demands.
3. If you have a child in the car, immediately alert the checkpoint operators of the child's presence. At some checkpoints, motorists who have not stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed.
Again, the Consulate retracted this warning as it was revealed it was untrue about checkpoints on Highway 8 and Penasco.
Joe , Eduardo's bread n butter this month are drunk college kids...the van is perfect for them and they fear nothing

Those three steps are a general guideline as to what you should do if you encounter a checkpoint in Mexico, not directly related to what you should do if you encounter something on highway 8. They issued a warning followed by steps you should take it you encounter a checkpoint in Mexico, anywhere. They are saying that in Mexico, elsewhere "at some checkpoints, motorists who have not stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed".

Now, as you can "ASSUME" I have my feces straight and pretty much firm unlike the diarrhea that is spilling out of your pie whole!!

Again, here go, you need to understand your own thought and set them straight, me saying that I have triple the business that I had last year's Spring Break does not mean there are more people in Rocky Point, you are "a$$ U ming" I am saying what you are thinking, as you said before I think is time for you to go to bed and yank yourself
Eduardo, your bite is like a wild cobaya. Speaking of cobaya lets fry one up and eat him together. In Mexico we call it Cuy Frito, ricismo con tortilla de maiz y una salsita.
Eduardo, your bite is like a wild cobaya. Speaking of cobaya lets fry one up and eat him together.
I love those little peasky bites at the ankles, "cuys" do taste good and I have the original INKA recipe of "Cuy Chactado" we will be missing the "chicha de Jora" (fermented corn beer) but easily replaceble by any good Mexican beer!!!!
PS: better start feeding those cobayas good food from now on!!
I am so hungry right now I can taste it. I am sitting in a room at New York New York, after meeting Kylie Johnson last night Feb. 2011 playboy centerfold, after dinner now I cant eat. I am here for Mike and Elda Georges 16th anniversery, they used to own Rocky Gardens in RP. Kylie looks latina, Eduardo I will ask her if she wants to share some cuy frito with us.
Now, as you can "ASSUME" I have my feces straight and pretty much firm unlike the diarrhea that is spilling out of your pie whole!!

Rocky Point Rides, you're an uneducated donkey. Please proof your work before you submit so you dont look like an idiot, it's better for your image so people dont auto disregard everything you say. "Mexjoe, ...if you WHERE around..." , I believe you meant WERE. Furthermore, yes I was here when that post was posted. In addition, you cite a past post as the factual information that backs up your point of view. Except the fact that a post starting with your DONKEY BROTHER CABO isn't factual information. YOUR BRO CABO takes a line out of context and puts it in all caps at the bottom of his post. That is hardly credible factual information DONKEY, you're repeating someones bullshit solomente. I read the original article or warning or whatever you want to call it. Those steps listed were for US citizens traveling abroad in Mexico, as to what they should do if they encounter an unofficial checkpoint in Mexico. The first part of the warning was directly related to people traveling on Highway 8 in Mexico. If you want to provide the EXACT piece of literature that says someone got killed on highway 8 in Mexico at an unofficial checkpoint then I will say Im wrong. You cant provide that information because you're a DONKEY and you missed the class WHERE you learned to back up argument with cited information from credible sources, not a forum member. I cant ASSUME that you have solid stool because I dont know you and I dont know what you eat. I can ASSUME and I can make OPINION on Spring Break numbers because I have secondary information and past knowledge of previous years to make an educated guess or HYPOTHESIS as to why there isn't more people, rather more VAN RIDES BUSINESS. Thats it BRUH, a hypothesis, an educated guess, an educated opinion based on knowledge Ive retained or gathered about the subject. I dont ASSUME a person like you knows about the Scientific Method because I ASSUME you missed that class as well. " Again, here go, you need to understand your own thought and set them straight, me saying that I have triple the business that I had last year's Spring Break does not mean there are more people in Rocky Point, you are "a$$ U ming" I am saying what you are thinking, as you said before I think is time for you to go to bed and yank yourself ", Im not sure Im exactly following you here. Pry because I cant understand your DONKEY grammar but are you agreeing with me? I wasnt saying thats what you were thinking when you said that you had more business this year. I was saying thats what I think is the reason why you have more business this year. My memory isn't as good as it used to be because Im getting older now but I dont recall telling anyone to go to bed and masterbate, "...as you said before I think is time for you to go to bed and yank yourself ". When you respond please proof your work because your grammar and spelling are truely DIARRHEA
Mexico Joe, my dear educated MENSA member. I truly loved reading your cute post about donkeys, spell check, creative references to slang, missing class and your scientific studies. You are too funny. I digress, anyways below is the exact Warden's message from the state department prior to the message being retracted. I am sure your supreme brain will be able to clearly understand the statement after point #3 "At some checkpoints, motorists who have not stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed."

U.S. Consulate Nogales
Warden Message
Warden Message – Security Issues
May 19, 2010
This Warden Message is to inform U.S. citizens traveling to and residing in Mexico of security concerns for travelers driving on Highway 8 between the U.S./Mexico border and Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point). There have been unconfirmed reports that unauthorized checkpoints have been set up by unknown persons at night. Reports from those passing through these checkpoints indicate that the operators of the checkpoint only requested to see identification before allowing them to pass. U.S. Consulate Nogales strongly advises any traveler who must take this route do so during daylight hours.
The Consulate's Security office has advised Consulate personnel to limit travel to major roads during daylight hours. Further, Consulate staff on official travel between cities must use armored vehicles. U.S. government employees are also instructed to follow the security practices detailed in "A Safe Trip Abroad," which can be found at http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/safety/safety_1747.html.
If you are stopped at an unofficial checkpoint:
If you are a victim, be sure to notify the U.S. Consulate in Nogales (+52-631-313-8150, or +52-1-631-318-0723 after hours) and consider contacting local police at 066.
U.S. citizens traveling through northern Mexico should exercise caution. Review of recent violence indicates that although criminal acts can occur unexpectedly at any time of day, overall it is safer to travel during the morning and early afternoon hours. American citizens are advised to refer to guidance in the Department of State's most recent Travel Warning for Mexico located
on the internet at http://trav0el.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/pa/pa_3028.html and Country Specific Information for Mexico, which can be found at http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_970.html for additional information regarding the current security situation in the country. U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad are encouraged to register with the nearest U.S. Embassy or consulate through the State Department's travel registration web site http://travel.state.gov/ibrs/ui.
For any emergencies involving U.S. citizens in Mexico, please contact the U.S. Embassy or the closest U.S. Consulate.
U.S. citizens in Nogales' consular district may contact the American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit at the U.S. Consulate, located on Calle San Jose (S/N), Col. Los Alamos, Nogales, Sonora, Mexico; telephone 011 +52 (631) 311-8150; after hours emergency telephone 011 +52 1 (631) 318-0723; web page: http://nogales.usconsulate.gov/; ACS Unit fax 011 +52 (631) 313-4652; email: [email protected]

I hope this does not discourage your current bitch fight. I think you are doing great!
mexjoe, first of all I have to apologize to the members of this forum for going off after your stupid comments under my business name and actually I risked my customer service reputation fighting with a boy (28? yrs old) that actually thinks that "more busy" is CORRECTER than a simple mistake of adding a "H" in "were", a mistake often made by natiuralized citizens of the USA that had to learn english to be able to adapt and forge a live in a completely different environment, that is something that a little silver spoon diarrhea filled brain boy that have to have daddio pay for the cell phone he uses and worries more about appearances than what really matters in life as in getting a life in your own rights.
Look Joe, this is the second time you do not know or are 100% sure of what you are talking about and again seems like you would like to put words in my mouth and still think you are right, when I posted the link of the thread and specify for you to look for the particular place where it is mention, I was not telling you to look at the first page of eleven on that thread and jump into conclussions, my mistake I was "ASS U MING" that you would do the correct thing and also read the links in that thread, OBVIUOSLY you did not, so let me see not only are you a little mommys boy that daddy pays the bills for but you are a LAZY IDIOT that rather sound and look like an imbecil in front of many than spent a few minutes and do some searching, I think some soul searching will be better, in your case, because all of us in this world are "BEAUTIFULL PEOPLE" not only the well dress or well manner, education as in school is just knowledge crumpped in your brain in a 4 year college, if you think that makes you a more beatiful person, notice the correct use of the word "more", then all of those with a college degree are beautiful no matter what, I am "ASS U MING" here that is what you ment.
Now, it seems that you are making a reference of your lack of memory due to your getting older, but you say you are about 28 yrs old, if that is the case then you better stay home with mommy and daddio, you do not even remember your own words:
"HEY INK, I hope you are talking about me because Im ready to do this like the shootout at the OK Corral. Here we go, lets review the quote.............. I suddenly had this new found energy to put my hand on my D#$% and grab it hard..........
Sorry, my bad, I "assumed" you said YANK HARD, then again I am loosing my memory since I am getting old!!
OK!! I am done with your stupid stance on life and you in general and by the way I did not used the spell check I did it all in my own!! :-o
.
TA-TA (shoot!! let me educate you joe TA-TA is a british expression that means the same as bye-bye)
We came down Friday afternoon, more traffic coming and going than we have seen in a long time. Was even a line entering into the US. 20 minute wait I bet

I never said spell check, and no this doesnt discourage my current bitch fight because once again this says nothing SPECIFICALLY about shootings on highway 8. "U.S. citizens traveling through NORTHERN MEXICO should exercise...". It obviously warns us of the unofficial checkpoints, then gives us three things we can do in the event of an unofficial stop, followed by what has happened to people that didnt stop at unofficial checkpoints, ELSEWHERE not on Highway 8 specifically. That sentence is followed by, " U.S. citizens traveling through northern Mexico...". NORTHERN MEXICO IN GENERAL HAS SEEN PEOPLE SHOT AT OR KILLED FOR NOT STOPPING AT CHECKPOINTS, not specifically highway 8. The US consulate is reiterating what could or has happened elsewhere at unofficial checkpoints. Once again, please produce a statement that IN ONE SENTENCE SAYS, bla bla bla someone was shot and killed on highway 8 at an unofficial checkpoint. I was already referred to this and I dont believe anywhere it says ON HIGHWAY 8 people that havent stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed. Using your brain doesnt mean it's supreme.

It seems you are having a hard time understanding the intent of the warden's message (that was eventually retracted), so I removed most of the message so that you could focus on two key sentences. When people read the warden's message, most (I would say say 99% - other than you of course) would assume the warning involves travel on highway 8 and what has been reported if someone does not stop at a checkpoint. The message starts off by saying where the warning is (highway 8), followed by reports of checkpoints on the highway, followed by 3 things one can do if they encounter a checkpoint, followed by what has been reported if you don't stop (shot and killed). Then (yes after all that) the message continues about using caution if you are traveling in northern mexico. I suggest you read the message over and over again and you will notice that the intent of the warning was to inform the reader that some have been shot and killed on that highway if you did not stop. Pay more attention to the sentence structure in the paragraph and how it flows. I am truly trying to help you so that you stop embarrasing yourself when it comes to understand the intention of the state department at the time when it came to travel on highway 8 and how the warning was written to direct the reader's reasoning ability that people had been shot and killed on this highway (I am sorry other than children's books, you don't need to specifically state who, what, where, why and how something happens in one sentence). As you progress in your reading, you will notice that a message is often shared to allow the reader to fill in the gaps just by the way it is written and how it flows without outlining all the details in a single sentence.

"It seems you are having a hard time understanding the intent of the warden's message", how do you establish what someone else's intent is? THE ANSWER IS, YOU CANT!!!!!!! You cant tell me what I intend to say right now, you cant tell me what someone intends to do when they buy a gun or toilet paper or ANYTHING!!! Only the person acting can tell you their intention. You made me dumber by telling me that you removed MOST of the message so that I could focus on two key sentences, OBVIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol, thats called taking something out of context, people do it all the time, politicians do it, your mom does it, I do it. Thats why when I quote something, and this is MLA, you are allowed to leave out key information to make a quote sound better, or fit your argument better. " If I were to read your chopped up, out of context quote ABOVE then yes I would say GOD DAMN, they are shooting people at unofficial checkpoints on highway 8, that sucks! Fortunately thats not how the Warden's message came out. The problem I have with you is that you use general terms like MOST. MOST, I WOULD SAY 99%! Who's MOST? How many people is 99% MOST PEOPLE THAT BUY GUNS COMMIT MURDER because I KNOW THATS WHAT THEY INTEND TO DO! Please, when you want to debate with me, please please please dont use MOST or MAJORITY or A LOT or 99% of AN UNKNOWN #, it doesnt make you sound any better to throw out meaningless generalizations. I do a lot of assuming so I guess when 99% of the people agree, does that mean that 99 people agree and 1 doesnt? Does that mean that 1000 people agree and 10 dont? How many people are we talking here? A million? Not quite sure cause I dont make irrational claims like that. Furthermore, after you tell me that 99% of people agree you go on to tell me that they agree based off an assumption. So let me understand you, 99% of the people that read the wardens message assume, not know they are correct? Would you agree that assuming and knowing are different? How is me assuming something different than others basing their opinion off assumption and not fact? Once again, I dont know because I CANT DETERMINE INTENT of SOMEONE ELSE, but I can DEVELOP OPINION OF SOMEONE'S INTENT and IN MY OPINION based on SENTENCE STRUCTURE and CHILDREN'S BOOKS that I READ day to day would allow me to believe that the warden INCLUDED THE LINE about unofficial checkpoints to show the seriousness of the claims. THE INTENT IMO was to show the seriousness of the claim. Why would they reiterate NORTHERN MEXICO TWO SENTENCES AFTER? Honestly, Ive read to many children's books tonight and Im extremely tired and I have to go masterbate. "...the warning was written to direct the reader's reasoning ability...", OBVIOUSLY!!!!!! You can structure writing like that to say something without actually saying it. They never said people that didnt come to a stop at unofficial checkpoints on highway 8 in Mexico have been shot at and killed. Honestly at this point, isn't this SEMANTICS? I just dont understand how you can tell me that you are right based off an assumption, and I quote, "(I would say say 99% - other than you of course) would assume....", so 99% of an UNKNOWN # are right based off of their assumption and Im (1%) wrong because I made an opposite assumption? SOUNDS LIKE SEMANTICS, also, " stop embarrasing yourself when it comes to understand the intention of the state department", CAN I ASSUME ENGLISH IS YOUR SECOND LANGUAGE TAMBIEN?! It's only embarrassing if the subject is embarrassed. #WINNING #PROOFYOWORK #IMOUT
#winning #proofyowork #imout
furthermore, is it possible that you are so focused on those two sentences that it is affecting your judgement of the paragraph as a whole??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would say yes, its possible
Actually, Im not done. Im sitting here thinking have I gone too far? Have I burnt myself up over something that obviously speaks to two types of people at once? I read the paragraph when it originated and Ive re-read the paragraph over and over. This I believe is the original post from AZRockPoint, " Just came across this message from the Nogalas warden's office. Anyone have insight into this security issue and is it a big concern?
U.S. Consulate Nogales
Warden Message
Warden Message – Security Issues
May 19, 2010
This Warden Message is to inform U.S. citizens traveling to and residing in Mexico of security
concerns for travelers driving on Highway 8 between the U.S./Mexico border and Puerto
Peñasco (Rocky Point). There have been unconfirmed reports that unauthorized checkpoints
have been set up by unknown persons at night. Reports from those passing through these
checkpoints indicate that the operators of the checkpoint only requested to see identification
before allowing them to pass. U.S. Consulate Nogales strongly advises any traveler who must
take this route do so during daylight hours.
The Consulate's Security office has advised Consulate personnel to limit travel to major roads
during daylight hours. Further, Consulate staff on official travel between cities must use
armored vehicles".
When the consulate says, "Reports from those passing through these
checkpoints indicate that the operators of the checkpoint only requested to see identification
before allowing them to pass", followed by "...who have not stopped have been shot at and killed", isn't that contradictory? Why would the US CONSULATE CONTRADICT ITSELF IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH?????????????????????????? They wouldnt, and didnt. The following information was included to make the reader aware of what has and what COULD happen if found in a similar situation.
I don't know why I waste time on this... the warden's message was in reference to unauthorized checkpoints on highway 8 (a variety of entities spoke directly to the nogales office and later to the Tijuana Consulate office confirming the US consulate office was speaking directly about checkpoints on highway 8 (sources such as the US media, mexican media, sonoran gov't and state unversities). the only reference to "northern mexico" was toward the end of the article "U.S. citizens traveling through northern Mexico should exercise caution." Thus when the message says "At some checkpoints, motorists who have not stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed" it is pretty clear that it is referring to highway 8.
By the way, an american family was shot at on highway 8 because they did not pull over and many believe this incident lead to the original wardens message about people being shot at and killed.
Since it appears you are concerned about spelling and proof reading, would you be so kind as to spell check and proof the 30,000+ posts on this site?
I am actually concerned about your choice of entertainment. I hope to not catch you on the next episode of "to catch a predator on 20/20...

What impresses me about you two is the total lack of of imagination and humor in your arguments. Hell, you'd think you were both right wing conservatives.

It's an online forum, not a thing should be taken seriously (I thought I had included some imagination and humor, oh well something to work on). Oh, if being a right wing conservative includes religion and fairy tales, the answer is no.

Kenny....Sounds more like left-wing. rat-fink, commie liberals!!!!:jerry::aagh::deadhorse::rofl::rofl:
I personally believe that the reason for so few students is that they don't have passports.
I don't think they give a rat's butt about anything except a good time but when they decide to go to Mexico they don't have a passport.
I invite a lot of people down and this seems to be the # 1 reason i get for them not coming.
I don't know about the spring breakers....but I do know that the fear of violence is still causing many to not visit. A friend owns several weeks at the Mayan, and has been coming down for years....he said that he will not be going down the rest of this year....his wife is downright scared.....even though they spend most of their time at the resort....

I asked you multiple questions in my rebuttal and not one answer. The reason why you dont answer is because you dont have any answers. You can keep telling me the same thing and you do. Honestly, do you not want to answer me? Are you still trying to come up with a LOGICAL response. Yes, I USE LOGIC, when the warden says reports are that people were stopped asked for ID and then allowed to PASS, followed by PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SHOT AT AND KILLED IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH is CONTRADICTORY. CONTRADICTION DEFIES LOGIC. Once again, whos the 99% you refer to? I answer your questions when I reply and this is what creates a SYMPOSIUM forum, not you reading every word I have written and not responding directly to questions I have for you. My questions are important, and when you cant answer ONE of them it doesnt look well for you friend. ANSWER ONE OF MY QUESTIONS PLEASE, you have the debating skills of your favorite 2012 ticket, PALIN/BACHMANN
Mexico Joe....I'm not going to get into what you or Dry Heat have going on.....but I will say this.....MANY....yes....MANY ...people (I'm almost tempted to say MOST) do not know how to read....or lack the comprehension of what they are reading. They pick out words and phrases, and then go charging off....because the words or phrases convey what they have already decided is fact or truth. Logic doesn't enter into it!

After talking to a couple of businesses in town, Rocky Point, they also mention having a higher influx of customers compered to last years, however they also mention that others they talked to had less number of college kids stop by!! what ever that means to you, I have no idea, to me it means that kids stay closer to where they were staying for the night however every passenger I had since last Friday they told me they were all over town, specially the places I recommended and as a good promoter I sent them all over town to spread the wealth!!! and most importantly I asked them not to mention me or my business but to pass the word around of what actually they experience in Penasco with out the cartels and the bloodshed and the drug crime the US media is talking about.
PS: NO SPELL CHECK WAS USED IN THE WRITING OF THIS POST
See Ya going to Party az over steers and queers...

Will attempt to answer this while I am on a flight to London (2012 summer olympic meetings). I don't believe the two sentences are contradicting each other. One is talking about reports of those that have stopped-
"There have been unconfirmed reports that unauthorized checkpoints have been set up by unknown persons at night. Reports from those passing through these checkpoints indicate that the operators of the checkpoint only requested to see identification before allowing them to pass."
The other sentence is talking about reports of those that have not stopped-
"At some checkpoints, motorists who have not stopped at unofficial checkpoints have been shot at and killed." the difference is stop and not stopped, I could explain the difference between both actions if you want.
I'm sorry I was not able to find where I said you where a "pedophile".

You answered one, proud of you HEAT. #ImOut #Winning
La Parrilla Suiza!!! I love that place.... Real Mex vs Tex Mex...... Pouring cheese ans lettuce on top of a dish does not make it Mexican,
Was sad when they closed the one in Phx , now only in Tucson.... Highly recommend.
No spell scheck; sorry
Isn't the La Parilla Suiza at PV Mall still open? Who was talking about spell check?
Son and friends from U of A and NAU had a great time. They said Manny's had fewer people, but all different ages. They loved dancing and Shock Treatment (hold hands and see who is the last who can take a shock). The kids from NAU are all now complaining about the snow and miss the perfect weather in Penasco.
My parents in law were down there this past weekend. They said it wasnt real busy. They did eat at the Wrecked bar and said it was really good. They also stated that the Malecon looks a lot better. They didnt say if it was paved yet though. We were down there last October and the Malecon was torn up and a nightmare to get around.
My family i and are going down this weekend and i cant wait!
Well, I guess others had the same experience that I did this Spring break:
“Tuvimos un buen fin de semana en Puerto Peñasco con la llegada de 20 mil turistas tan sólo durante viernes, sábado y domingo, esto representa un 10 por ciento más en comparación con el año anterior”, enfatizó," dijo el alcalde de Puerto Penasco Alejandro Zepeda Munro
"We had a good weekend in Rocky Point with the arrival of 20K tourist during Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this is an increase of 10% over last years (Spring Break)" said the mayor of Rocky Point Alejandro Zepeda Munro
This is just a little bit of the article from Numero Uno News, on the DeFrente article they mention having Hotel, condos and other businesses hand surveys/questionnaires to renters to have a count of incoming tourist, so far for me I am at a place where I can count my passengers by reservations, hopefully soon the computer will have to do it for me! :-o
The one thing I did ask all my customers was to mention to others how safe and fun it was in RP!!
