Well i priced out everything i needed to rebuild my motor. and the total came to 3800 us dollars. the connecting rods alone were 1100 dollars. So i did some research online and found a remanufactured power head with a 1 year warranty for 3250 plus a 500 dollar core charge which is 100 percent refunded upon return off my old block. So it should be delivered to my door step in a week or less. Then my boat will be up and running and ready for fishing again. The online store i used was iboats.com. They made it very easy and were very helpful and answered every question i threw at them.
Yup, I second the opinion that the iboats online store is awesome... They always have the parts I need for my 30 year old stern drive, or my 20 year old kicker outboard...
