Thats, Presa Novillo, Jerry. i pulled my bass boat up there a couple years ago, on the San Pedro end of the lake, the guy that started Taco Bell and later sold out, has or had a bed and breakfast and a private airport for fly in fisherman. One picture shows, the church of the town that was flooded, when they dammed river, there are two rivers that come together there. I launched the boat off the dam end of the lake, but I dont recommend it if you are afraid of heights, better in San Pedro or there is another little town, in between the dam and San Pedro. The drive to the lake in the summer is really pretty, also there is a big group of pure white pelicans that live here, and lots of gil netters, for bass and tilapia. There is lots of cheap land here with lakefront, Roberto should remember when I went here to look at a ranch with 2 kilometers of lake front and it had a small cabin on it.

I recall when you went there. We visited the lake on the way to an Ejido back on the border with Chihuahua near Sahuaripa one time. Sahuaripa is a real interesting old town to visit. We had to say over there overnight because the arroyos to the Ejido were flooded. They were having an annual fiesta. It was much like the Matachines dancers in New Mexico. No tourists around either. That's the stuff I hope to see more of.
