My various weather apps were predicting at least 1.5" of rain. Later today they increased the projections to over 5". I think we could be in for some major flooding.
Any guesses how long the Las Conchas (and other non-paved roads) will be impassable?

Nonpaved beach roads often take a couple days to dry out -- depending on the proportion of sand to caliche (the latter prolonging it), as well as the volume / duration of rain, of course. If heading east of Las Conchas on the Caborca Road, washes will fill about a day after heavy rainfall in Sonoyta.
