A new SCUBA mask

Looks kind of big... cool idea though...
From the reviews, it doesn't seem too good for stills....one of the reviews indicated about a 1-1.5 sec. shutter lag.....the sample video looked decent.
That's typical - most video cameras just don't do good stills - they can't capture high resolution like a still camera can. I have a nice Panasonic video camera that records directly on mini CD ROMs and it does a great job with video, but it can't hold a candle to my Nikon D80 went it comes to stills. Different tools for different jobs! Plus, for $99, you're probably not getting very sophisticated electronics. It's a novelty toy more than something anybody serious about taking stills or video would use. Still, at that price, it would be something fun to play around with.
It's only rated at 15 feet. It's at best a snorkling mask.
