This sounds like a lazy person question but I jumped the gun & booked a hotel room not remembering at the time how important a washer/dryer is (oopsie) is there a Laundromat anyone knows that they will wash & dry the clothes for you ? I normally don't mind doing it when my home machines break but not on vacation. looked some up online but my Spanish isn't quite up to par to completely understand their services. thanks all!

Biosfera not to bad.

My king bedspreads are too big for my washer. I took my RP times map to the newspaper and they marked a couple of them. I went to one of them and took it in. They knew what I wanted and I went back the next day and got it. None spoke English.

Do you know if they will wash the clothes, not just have washers & dryers to use? I will study up on how to let them know what I am wanting.

The one I went to did not have washer and dryer for use.

We take everything to La Princessa on Sinaloa. Just drop off your dirty laundry, they will wash and dry and fold it and have it ready for you it less than an afternoon. Depending on how many towels, its 10-20 US $

They will also do ironing. Full service.

Lavar=wash

Planchar=iron

Cuánto cuesta?

I bet if you said those three words/phrases in a questioning tone, they'd figure out what you want and give you an estimate.

Any chance you can mark it on the map? https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?ll=30.80570078790717%2C-113.614168&spn=0.063102%2C0.077162&msa=0&mid=1h8WQZ2vXz-hrczezJlD7dyUC1J4&z=9

I ended up taking it to a Lavamatica heading towards Super Ley from the main road to the right a few blocks before Super Ley. (Sorry I can't remember the name) I had a medium to large bag of clothes, I dropped it off with a lady that was working there (they did have washing machines and dryers for personal use also) it cost 120 pesos around $6 and I tipped a few bucks. It was nice, I looooove clean laundry on vacation
Which is one of my main reasons I like to rent condos but Penasco Del Sol was pretty darn nice for the price and since we have food allergies we were allowed to bring some of our own food which is usually not allowed because they want you to buy everything there which isn't a bad price or quality so either way it was nice for the price for sure. Sorry to get off track but maybe the hotel review will help someone eventually

Always wanted to stay there. In almost 20 years I've only been in the lobby. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay? Online deal?

... And great thread! (edit)

I don't mind at all! I got a great deal through TripAdvisor, it ended up being $98 a night and only taxes no fees like a condo so for 5 nights it was 560 which is pretty darn good since some of the days were during a weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at how we ended up liking it. Unlike a condo you get the maid service daily which is nice. It is noisier than a condo unit, you can sometimes hear the people above or next door so that was a downfall but they play party type music at the pool all day, swim up bar, volley ball net in the pool, it's a fun spot! Great food & drink specials , not bad food. Oh yeah the guy that plays guitar & sings Saturday nights and Sunday mornings was really really good

If you go off season like we do I've seen rates as low as 79.99 a night plus tax

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like my kind of spot... I'll have to check it out one of these trips.

It was pretty cool, want to go back already! It's also cool to be able to just walk to southside Jillz for pool or Max's
