Pot laws for individuals in Mex?

I heard that pot has been decriminalized for individual use. Can anyone correctly clarify this?

Try telling that to a cop in Rocky Point when you get caught smoking or with a small amount of weed. The frontera is an entirely different country in it's own. Things that come out of DF aren't always relevant in the Frontera.

Yeah you definitely still need to be discreet about it. I guess what I was trying to say is that if you were caught, it's not like you'll end up in a gulag for 20 years like some countries. Worst case scenario is probably an empty wallet or trip to the ATM.

I'll be kickin back drinkin a few cold cervezas, maybe a margarita or two, while the weed smokers are getting hassled by the cops. Why do you think they call it dope?

Exactly my point. NOT legal. Definitely not worth paying any amount in fine.

Im with Joe on this, Dont risk it. Dont go to Mexico to do drugs. Just say NO! Plenty of beer, wine and whiskey to get your legal buzz on. If you need to smoke, buy a pack of Marlboro Reds in Mexico, they are so strong they might kill you.

Boy do l remember those days Of Marlboro reds damn right they were strong even for a heavy smoke.

For the record, Joe does NOT condone smoking cigs. In any circumstance ever. Cigs are a dangerous drug and I would never consider trying it ever in my life. Thank you.
