When I was there for a few months awhile back, I found great stuff downtown. Not a lot of English but very responsible.

The bodega had no swimsuits. We got one at the shop with all the pool toys just as you're driving into the port area.
Bug spray was available at a pharmacy in the same area

The little store at the Sonoran Sea has bathing suits and lots of other things. It is a great store!!
