ya theres a good amount of those bullseye puffers out there. im still trying to catch a flounder i know they are there i see them and have seen a few get caught but i cant seem to get lucky. i got a few white bucktail jigs to throw into the sand but only yielded me rock bass.

we had a rock bass swallow one of the kids hooks so we cut it up as bait which yielded me a small corvina and then the large one. man that corvina peeled off a few runs with my drag almost set all the way. best fight in awhile! FYI it tasted awesome

a lot of the kayak fishing videos i watch on youtube have these Hobie paddly kayaks. they say they are great because they can manevour the kayaks hands free while fishing...plus they can paddle with their legs like they are riding a bike and it is very simple. very $$$$$$$$

we tried to drink at the bar in the resort in February and they said nothing was open to the public yet and you could only schedule tours of the place. they wouldnt let us drive past the security gate.

will be down 6/10 going to try to get from the end of las conchas side to the estuary if the weather plays nice on our kayak im guessing its a mile or mile 1/2. anyone know what the current water temp is out there? is it still pretty cold? looking at the 10 day its not getting over 85 degrees ....
