Super Bowl 2009.. Tampa Bay.. Cardinals and the Steelers.. I found a package for 2 ( I don't care for the Cardinals but one of my son's is a fan.. Before I bought the package, I called his boss to see if he let my kid off to go to the Super Bowl and he thought it was a great idea.. ( I didn't tell my son). So a week before the Super Bowl I drove to his house and he invited me over to see the Super Bowl at his house on Sunday and I told him he wouldn't be there to watch it.. I told him I had tickets for he and I for the Super Bowl and told him I had cleared it with Glen, his boss.. He about crapped his pants.. The package included a stay at the Marriott in Orlando.. so we arrived at the Marriott went to our room and decided to go down to the restaurant/bar and walking through, there was a table of men drinking, as i passed, one of them looked at me and said hey you are wearing our best selling shoe.. (Reebok Classics) and I told him I had worn the same shoe for years.. so we sat down and a guy that said he owned several sporting goods stores in Florida came over from the shoe guys table and said it was all the big shots from Reebok at the table.. so we talked for a minute.. The next day we ran into the guy and said the Reebok crew left 2 passes to their private party for my son and I and a van would pick us up at the hotel and bring us back.. We arrived at the party there were about 2000 people, a huge buffet, NFL players everywhere.. Heart and Pat Benatar were the entertainment.. It was something else.. Friday morning we rented a car and drove to the stadium in Tampa for the NFL Experience.. ran into a couple guys from Rocky Point.. The football game was great, we sat in the middle of a bunch of Steeler fans.. That part wasn't so great.. Bruce Springsteen was the halftime entertainment.. Really a great experience because of my Reeboks..
